MEMBERSHIP
Sun & Sand Community League (SSCL) was incorporated in 1988 as a nonprofit society representing over 400 households within the two municipalities of SV Sandy Beach and SV Sunrise Beach.
We focus on taking steps to improve our offerings by enhancing programs, events, and further developing a positive community culture within our boundaries.
GAME CHANGER
Did you know that the key to securing grants to fund community activities is membership. When you buy a membership, you are increasing the membership factor that funders take into consideration before awarding grant money.
Not only does a membership open up grant funding opportunities for your community, a membership gives you a voice and a vote on community league operations and organizational development ... and there are also a full set of benefits afforded to members:
The opportunity to join the League’s Board of Directors.
Access to small internal funding opportunities when available, for eligible community activities.
Free access to members only prize draws.
Advanced details of upcoming events and programs.
Advanced access to event and program registration.
Qualify to apply for services and programs offered through the SSCL Helping Hands Project.
The Sun & Sand Community League membership cycle spans one year from date of purchase. You may purchase a membership at any point in the year. Memberships can be purchased online by clicking on the relevant link below, or in person by contacting us at 780.996.5155.

Membership Draw Rules
Open to new members, renewing members, and all members in good standing.
One (1) draw entry per adult (18+ yrs) listed on each membership.
Duplicate entries not permitted.
Individual, family, and corporate memberships will each be counted as one (1) membership on the progress thermometer.
Minimum of one (1) prize drawn for every ten (10) memberships purchased. The winning ticket will go back into the draw for a chance to also win one of the final prizes.
All remaining prizes, including four (4) Sandstone service vouchers valued at up to $200.00 each, will be drawn for when one hundred memberships have been purchased.
One (1) final prize per draw ticket.
No prize substitutions.
All winners of Standstone gift vouchers agree to having their photo and name shared with Standstone Water & Waste Services, otherwise prize will be forfeited and redrawn.
